It's a very convenient and strong option for a quick rest.The two main drawbacks for me are that it's a bit low to the ground for a comfortable seat, feeling more like a footstool in some situations, and the seat area is small, so it's not comfortable for sitting on for a long time. Despite those points, it's a fantastic, reliable product for quick stops and I'm happy with it.

Just finished a backpacking trip and excited to use this one for the next trip. It’s slightly heavier than expected, but much smaller footprint so the trade off is fair. I like that I can pack it away or attach to exterior of my pack.

we have a pair of hammock chairs from costco and since the first day we bought them we have wanted to get a nice foot stool for the full leisure experience. this is the perfect height for it!we also have a lot of people over / trips / outdoor activities with all the brothers and cousins that really make these handy for extra little spots to plop your butt down but take up no more space than a clutch purse!my husband weighs around 230 at the moment and he sat on it for a good minute to see if it would spilt or falter and it didn’t even squeak!
